Aesthetic appeal meets zoning requirements and blends into neighborhood location.
Madison Department of Public Works Garage, located on Fort Path Road in Madison, CT was selected for the Varco Pruden Buildings 2013 Hall of Fame award. The new 5,700 SF Varco Pruden, pre-engineered steel building serves as a maintenance garage for the Town of Madison. Designed by John Matthews Architecture, the building integrates a “Classic Red” panel rib wall system and “Ash Gray” panel rib roof to create a structure resembling a typical New England barn. The structure’s aesthetic appeal meets all zoning requirements and blends seamlessly into the neighborhood where it is located.
