Munger Construction is nearing completion of a large dog daycare and boarding facility in Guilford, CT. The Metro Pooch, located at 201 Soundview Road, will offer state-of-the-art dog care services for the shoreline community and beyond.

The 9,600 SF, wood framed building, was designed to have a residential feel and remain consistent with the architecture in the surrounding area. Features of the facility include a reception/waiting room area, boarding spaces, grooming rooms, training rooms, indoor playing areas and outdoor playing areas.

Currently, the Munger team is underway interior painting and tile work for the floors and walls. Continued site work is taking place in order to have the area prepped for paving and exterior concrete walkways. Munger’s contracted work on this project is anticipated to be completed by mid May of 2020. The Metro Pooch will be open for business by early summer of 2020.
