“It is our goal for the University of New Haven to have an excellent customer experience and for this facility to bring growth to UNH’s already booming Athletic Department,”

Dave Peterson, a 1988 University of New Haven graduate, former football standout, and member of the University’s Board of Governors, made a leadership gift to support the development of the facility. “My experiences as a student-athlete taught me skills that I have used throughout my career,” said Peterson. “I am excited to help enrich the experience of future generations of student-athletes and to provide a space for them to prepare to excel on and off the field. Creating this facility is an important step in our goal to move to Division I, and I expect this will be the first of many new projects and enhancements that will take place on the North Campus.”
