The Situation
The University of New Haven selected Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. to build the new 30,000-square-foot Peterson Performance Center located on the University of New Haven’s North Campus in West Haven, CT.
Outcome

Construction of the Peterson Performance Center began in August 2021 and was completed in 2022, providing University of New Haven student-athletes with a modern facility designed to support training, performance, and recovery.
The 30,000-square-foot Peterson Performance Center features a 7,000-square-foot sports performance center with a complete weight room, including 20 Olympic weightlifting racks and a 60-yard turf field. The facility also includes a 1,500-square-foot sports medicine center, a 2,500-square-foot football locker room, meeting rooms, and additional spaces for student-athlete use.
