    Case Study

    The Situation

Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina required the replacement of an existing building with a modern, insulated structure better suited to the property's needs. The new building needed to accommodate the marina's functional requirements while integrating with an adjacent structure.

    Problem

    The Challenges

    1

Replacing an Aging Marina Building: The existing building required demolition and replacement with a durable, functional structure suited to the marina's needs.

    2

Integrating New and Existing Structures: The new building needed to complement the adjoining facility while incorporating improvements to the existing structure.

    3

Construction Within an Active Marina Environment: Working within an established waterfront property required careful planning around existing structures, site access, and construction activities.

    Solution

    The Resolutions

    1

Pre-Engineered Metal Building Construction: Munger constructed an approximately 2,100-square-foot Varco Pruden pre-engineered metal building featuring insulated wall panels, standing-seam roofing, and overhead and personnel doors.

    2

Coordinated Facility Improvements: Munger integrated the new construction with improvements to the adjoining building, including exterior siding, trim, and a sliding glass unit.

    3

Comprehensive Construction Management: Munger coordinated demolition, concrete foundations, steel erection, and mechanical and electrical work to support efficient construction within the marina property.

    Outcome

    the final product

The project was designed to provide Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina with a durable, insulated replacement building and coordinated improvements to the adjoining facility.
