Project Overview
Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club selected Munger Construction to renovate and remodel its historic clubhouse in Branford, Connecticut. The project enhanced the building’s appearance, improved energy efficiency, and brought the clubhouse into compliance with current building codes. Founded in 1901, the private club moved its clubhouse to its current location in the early 1920s.

The Situation
Munger completed extensive structural work throughout the clubhouse. Our team removed and replaced the front wall, lower windows and porch. We also installed energy-efficient ICYNENE spray-foam insulation and new insulated windows and doors.
To complete the exterior improvements, Munger replaced the porch roof and constructed architectural trim from durable PVC materials. These upgrades preserved the clubhouse’s traditional character while providing long-lasting, low-maintenance performance.
