Project Overview
Jaguar Land Rover of North Haven brings vehicle sales, service, and customer amenities together in a 38,000-square-foot dealership in North Haven, Connecticut. Munger Construction completed the facility for Executive Auto Group, incorporating a vehicle showroom, 14-bay service area, customer lounge, offices, and an on-site car wash within a pre-engineered steel structure. Winter conditions presented a construction challenge. Munger tented and heated the exterior so masonry work could continue and completed exterior framing and siding during the winter. The finished dealership pairs its operational spaces with the coordinated finishes expected of a luxury automotive facility.

The Situation

the final product
In order to work through a particularly harsh winter, the entire exterior was tented and heated, allowing the crew to continue masonry work and avoid weather delays. Additionally, all outside framing and siding was performed over the winter, instead of waiting for warmer conditions. This project acts as a testament to the vast capabilities of the Munger Construction team. As a luxury car dealership, the end product boasts high end, aesthetically matching building finishes, in order to maintain the presence of prestige that goes along with Land Rover vehicles.
