Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. recently completed a 29,000-square-foot facility for InCord in Colchester, Connecticut, aimed at supporting the company's growth in custom safety netting production with a highly functional, purpose-built space optimized for efficiency and future expansion.

They needed a facility that could accommodate specialized equipment, optimize workflows, and provide a positive, integrated workplace environment for employees who had been separated across sites for years.

The project was spearheaded by Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc., in close collaboration with InCord’s leadership team. Under the guidance of Project Manager, Michael Cormier Jr., and Project Supervisor, Alan Kostek, Munger Construction focused on creating a purpose-built campus that met InCord’s specific operational and team requirements. The collaborative approach allowed for precise project execution and seamless integration of design elements essential for InCord’s unique production processes.
Outcome

The new 76 Upton Rd facility has unified InCord’s operations, providing a state-of-the-art environment for both employees and production. The building supports InCord’s commitment to employee wellbeing and operational efficiency, allowing them to serve customers more effectively while fostering a sense of community within the team. The space is now fully operational, and the team is positioned to take on new challenges, continue industry leadership, and support local economic growth in Colchester.
