Dougherty Oil Company
March 9, 2015
Following demolition of an existing wood framed building, Munger constructed a 5,500 SF Varco Pruden, pre-engineered steel building to house the day-to-day operations of Dougherty Oil Company’s fuel oil and heating/air conditioning business. The new building includes 1,200 SF of office space, including a conference room, lunchroom, three private offices, and reception area. The remainder of the space houses the shop area including bay space for the oil and service trucks to be housed inside.
- Masonry and attractive color scheme provide aesthetic appeal.
Special features include a pleasing exterior with masonry on the front of the building and an attractive color scheme utilized throughout the facility. The shop area includes radiant floor heat, which heats the concrete slab as a mass, warming things evenly, with low maintenance and minimal energy usage.
