Concrete Spray for Goldfish Swim School in Stamford, CT
September 22, 2020
Munger recently completed a concrete spray for a pool foundation at the Goldfish Swim School project. The spraying process required three trucks of concrete mix to fill in the foundation of the 74 x 28 foot pool.
Goldfish Swim School, located at 9 Riverbend Drive South in Stamford, provides top of the line swimming facilities, dedicated to indoor swim classes for children. Munger was contracted to complete the interior fit-out of an existing 9,000 SF building. The project involved the excavation for, and installation the heated pool, installation of an observation area for parents, and construction of a “Caribbean Themed” changing area.
Remaining construction steps for the facility include HVAC/mechanical work, plaster/tile work for the pool, epoxy sealing, painting and additional finishes. Completion of this project is anticipated to be around late October 2020. This will mark Munger’s second project for Goldfish Swim School, with a third project starting in a few short months!
