The Situation
The owner came to Munger with the need to give his existing showroom a new and updated look. Richard Greenalch, PE (Munger Construction) and Gary Tierney Architect (Design Two) developed a design that was compatible with the existing structure and gave the interior a fresh look.
Problem

Due to the height of the new 2-story addition, the roof of the existing pre-engineered building needed to be elevated in order to eliminate snow buildup and roof drainage problems.

Site work required to support the additional structure included new storm drainage and catch basins.
Solution
The Resolutions

With direction from Joe Pierandi, Project Manager, and Joe Raccio, Project Supervisor, the team began demolition of the existing showroom and front canopy façade of the dealership.

Concrete footings were poured, the foundation was extended and slab was installed for all new interior areas.
Outcome
the final product
This renovation features a 2-story office area, as well as a waiting area and play room for children. The new showroom addition will allow Quality Subaru to better showcase their vehicles, while projecting an outward appearance of success and professionalism.
