Munger’s Safety Coordinator completed the #500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry and is certified by the U. S. Department of Labor as an OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer. All employees are certified in an OSHA 10-hour outreach program for construction that they update every 5 years. Some project managers have also completed the OSHA 30-hour outreach program. Our Company Health and Safety Program is distributed to all employees and available for review in jobsite trailers and our corporate office. All Munger employees complete OSHA required, Sit-Down Counter Balanced Lift Training (forklift training). Managers have been trained as instructors for man-lift operations. Munger Construction offers voluntary first aid training and additional first responder training to interested employees so that they can be prepared for any emergency situation that might arise.
Safety
Munger is dedicated to creating, promoting and maintaining the safest possible work environments for its employees, sub-contractors and customers. Our Health and Safety Committee (HSC) meets regularly to review and assess health and safety needs. Our safety coordinator oversees our safety program to insure that all employees and sub-contractors always follow proper safety procedures.
