Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Serve & Smash Pickleball & Padel Club

Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. is proud to have brought the vision of Serve & Smash Pickleball & Padel Club to life with the supply and erection of a 21,000 SF Varco Pruden building right on the Connecticut shoreline.
This isn’t just another sports facility – it’s the first-of-its-kind in the region, offering:
- 6 indoor Pickleball courts
- 4 indoor Padel courts (one of the very first in CT!)
- A full social scene with leagues, clinics, food, drinks & more
The community celebrated in style at the grand opening, with Branford First Selectman James Cosgrove cutting the ribbon, live entertainment, free clinics, and even a raffle for a Tyson McGuffin signed pickleball paddle.
Pickleball may be the fastest-growing sport in America, but padel is right behind it, and now both are under one roof on the shoreline. Serve & Smash is where competition meets community.
