Serve & Smash Padel & Pickleball Club – New Construction
Download The Success StoryThe Situation
Serve & Smash Padel & Pickleball Club sought to create a modern indoor/outdoor sports and social destination combining high-level pickleball and padel courts with advanced amenities and community gathering spaces.

The Challenge
Designing a structure that accommodates multiple court formats (with differing height and spatial requirements), provides seamless circulation to social areas, and integrates high-tech systems (cameras, TVs, lighting, HVAC) all on a tight schedule presented a complex coordination challenge.
The Solution
Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. supplied and erected a precision-engineered Varco Pruden metal building (21,000 SF) that offers clear-span flexibility and robust support for specialized loads. Working closely with Hinding Tennis, Munger’s steel erection team executed the structural installation to align with the technical, aesthetic, and programmatic goals of the project.
Result
The finished facility includes:
- 10 courts — 8 indoor (6 pickleball, 2 padel) and 2 outdoor
- Cutting-edge performance lab
- Elevated terrace viewing areas (indoor + outdoor) with full-service bars and catered menus
- 12 TVs (6 per indoor pickleball court)
- Cameras on each court for line-call correction and playback
- Spacious seating, Joola ping-pong, cornhole, and a state-of-the-art sound system
This mix of sports, technology, and social elements makes Smash Padel & Pickleball Club not just a venue — but a destination for athletes and community alike.
